Sunday is supposed to be your best day of the week, but every other time, I wake up to find myself in a sombre mood, thinking of things that more or less, spoil my Sunday. Like today, when I woke up, to find that a sudden bout of homesickness had engulfed me, inside out.
What is it about home that gets to me, in the middle of the semester, although, each time I leave home, with a firm resolve, not to feel homesick, ever again? Perhaps, just like many others, its a given fact, one you can't question even if you want to.
For me, home is that strange sounding dish, that you order at a roadside joint, just out of curiosity, only to never ever forget it for everything that it had to offer!
Bad analogy, and I guess that is what being homesick can do to you, think and do stupid acts.
Look I even got this funky time line counter, that keeps me informed about how many more days I've to endure before... I get to go home.
